June 24, 2020 It is time for an update on the progress of my painting. I began my painting in April. It is an abstract representation of a peacock rattling. Instead of flashing its ire-decent feathers, my peacock displays a rainbow of roses.
On May 16, I fell and broke my humerus into three pieces. I had surgery to repair my shoulder on May 25. I have not been able to work on my painting since I broke my arm.
Today, I am ready to return to my painting. I have realized that I must find a creative way to continue my painting. Thus, I have decided to produce a series of roses in my sketchbook. Once they are finished, I will incorporate them into the canvas painting.
I want to encourage you to never give up on your project. Although I am having difficulty moving, I refuse to let it keep me from enjoying my project. I have used my imagination to devise ways to continue my painting.
I am including the latest photo of the full canvas. I have been working on the fine details of each rose. I am including a photo of a pink rose that I worked on. Finally, I am incorporating my sketchbook to design some additional roses. Remember to never give up on your project or goals.
What project/goal are you currently working on? Please take a moment to share about it in the comments. Thank you for sharing!
